Today
I propose to the many US readers of my blog to read for free my nice story by
investigator Tombolo - with the kind participation of the publishing house LFA Publisher and its publisher Lello Lucignano - that I wrote in Italy
to encourage the donation of Italian people to Italian hospitals in the
emergency against coronavirus.
Author's
introduction to the english version
"First of
all, the story has been translated for the many American readers who have been
reading my italian blog fabiomarazzoli.blogspot.com for many years. But not
only for this reason. I am very close to the United States because a very nice
and very nice American cousin of mine lives there, whose name and surname I
cannot absolutely reveal, but only the city where he lives, which is the
delightful Lakeland in Florida. Finally, at this moment I express my closeness
to american people for the emergency against coronavirus #athome. I’m sorry if
there may be some translation errors in the english version. Tell me the error
and I will be grateful to you.”
A precise year
after the release of “A nursery rhyme of crimes and murders”, the last
detective story starring the Tuscan private investigator, returns in this nice
and short unpublished Marino Tombolo who, together with his shadow helper
Prospero Buontempo, will have to confronting a paradoxical situation: presenting
himself on the stage of the Frankfurt Book Fair because his author - Marazzoli
- preferred that Tombolo was the absolute protagonist of the presentation of
the published mystery.

Author's
Note of the italian version
"This story
was made available for reading with the kind participation of the publishing
house LFA Publisher that recently published my yellow books. The moment is particular
and for this reason it seemed useful to me to freely disseminate a particular
story that I hope you also found nice. The story has been done to give a smile
but also to provide a support, those who wanted to do, with a donation to the
hospitals on the front lines fighting the coronavirus. But I also owe you
another explanation as to why this story. The investigator Marino Tombolo and
his shadow assistant Prospero Buontempo, despite themselves, were invited to
attend the Frankfurt Book Fair. But why? Because a book by their author, Fabio
Marazzoli and myself, will be presented in Frankfurt and the two of them will
be the protagonists of the final evening, where they will present themselves. It
was a matter of telling a semi-serious Neapolitan scene at the selection of the
yellow book "A NURSERY RHYME of CRIMES and MURDERS" (the cases of the
investigator Tombolo) - published by the LFA Publisher Caivan (Naples) - for
the Frankfurt Book Fair which took place from 16 to 20 October 2019. Names and
brands that were eventually mentioned in the story belong to their respective
owners. Any analogy with places, facts, references, situations, names, surnames
or nicknames of people, living, deceased or yet to be born, is to be considered
a joke of fate and must be attributed only to the author's fervent imagination.
Thank you for having read the my story and if you make a donation, however
small."
